Happy St. Patrick's Eve
so last night i watched the tape of Celeste in the City. it was okay i guess, nothing very original or great. plus the tape's defective, trouble with the horizontal hold, at least till later in the tape. also on the tape, and by this point working, was Pixel Perfect. now that movie I liked. then i got online to write an entry for it on my homepage, and realized there were a ton of Disney Channel movies i'd never done entries for. i ended up spending hours working on a few pages: kid flicks, and fantasy & sci-fi tv movies, and miniseries & tv movies. some of the entries were already there, but I had to add links to Movie Tome to them. plus a bunch of new entries. Kid flicks is a totally new page, though I did move one old entry (Little Spies) there from the regular tv movie page. Also I got sidetracked to work a bit on a few other pages, just a little. Then I played around a bit at HSX. Then I watched Home Movies, which I taped Sunday night. That was fun. And the last half of last night's Cracking Up, which I was gonna tape but didn't remember till halfway through. Not that I care. I'm not getting into this show at all, though Caitlin Wachs is cute. At least this show is more tolerable than that lame-ass remake of Family Affair she was in last season. (I can't comment on the original show, never seen it.) Hmmm... what else? I watched Yu Yu Hakusho. Imagine, actually watching something as it airs! I can't help wondering what the second season would be like if it had aired on Adult Swim, cuz Toonami just ain't as good, y'know? But I'm enjoying it alright, anyway. Um... tonight Gilmore Girls is a rerun, but I'm planning on checking out the premiere of "Century City." And... maybe I'll watch Kim Possible at 11, I don't think I've seen this ep though it is a rerun. Oh! Last night was an ep of Futurama I never saw. Um, and at 12 is another new ep of Witch Hunter Robin. Yes! My life is television. Sue me. If I'm gonna pay like $45 a month for friggin' cable, I'll damn well get my money's worth. Because television is the drug of a nation. It's soooooo good. Except when it sucks. Which is mostly. Gah, look how uninspired this post is! My brain is so mush. I used to be capable of cleverness. TV still good even if it mush making. At least I watch smart shows sometimes. Unlike the majority of Americans. So there! Maybe I'll watch another tape tonight. I didn't get as much watched today as I wanted, cuz of all that work on my homepage. Tomorrow is time for more. Plus I have a DVD to watch. Gosh I like having a DVD player. I've just had it... a couple months or so. Maybe next month I'll actually consider looking for easter eggs. It seems kind of not worth the effort to me, but whatever. There's websites to tell you how to find them anyway... Maybe I'll look this stuff up. Though I don't even know if any of my movies have easter eggs. I don't have alot of DVDs yet, you know. Check the DVD Aficionado link to the left. Small owned list, huge wish list. Ramble ramble ramble, I am the ramble king! That's a little song I made up years ago. Head feeling mushy. I threw away defective tape after finished watching it. Bye bye now, the post is over. If you're still reading, you can be the last person to stand up and leave the theater. I'd do a Jay Sherman joke... if my brain wasn't too mushy to think of one.
