It's so hot, I'm not even wearing a jacket! You have to understand, I wear a jacket. It's just something I do. I always wear a jacket when I leave the house. I can't remember for sure, but I think there may be a time when I used to even wear a jacket in the house. Certainly I used to wear a jacket all day through high school and college. I still always wear a jacket when I go out, even if it's hot out. Okay, almost always. My motto is, if you can't stand the heat, don't even bother trying to be cool. (Not that I'd ever consider myself cool.) Whatever. I could've worn my jacket today, but I didn't.

What else? I still can't check my email. Maybe I'll get a chance at the relatives' place later this week, if I go to stain the deck. Damn library, why won't excite.com load here? I dunno. Weeks it's been without email. Damn.

I got a package from Gevalia yesterday. A canister, some more coffee, and some ancient cherry green tea. Tried that this morning, and damn, that's some good stuff. I got a DVD yesterday of Back to the Beach, one of my favorite movies ever. That's pretty fun.

And... I started a Fourth of July page the other day. Not much there as yet, but check it out anyway.

And I just finished reading Ringworld last night. Don't know yet what book I'll read next, better choose one soon. And that's all I can think to say at the moment, I guess. The 4400 was cool. Okay...
