So, last night my sister downloaded CallWave. This morning, we couldn't connect to the internet. We had to take our computer in to our ISP to see if they could fix it. But Beth went to the library (which is where I am right now) to check her email. Also looked up callwave while she was here and found out (which she should have done last night) that we have to call our phone company and tell them we have the program, so that we'll be able to use it. It's ridiculous, we couldn't even uninstall the program because it has to connect to the internet to do that for some reason. Meanwhile, the ISP still has the computer, and while they didn't have to do anything about the callwave problem, they found other problems, the main one being that apparently the modem was dead, for some reason. So they put in a new one, which will cost about $20, plus $50 for labor. And sis had to go to work, before they were finished working on the computer. we won't have a chance to pick it up till Tuesday, I guess. This sucks. Also of course that'll take a huge chunk out of my "extra" paycheck. Oh, also they found a virus which they can't get rid of because they can't load an updated version of Norton, because it won't work with windows 95. Damn I hate having such an old computer. Wish we could afford a new one.

Ah well, such is life. We did get a package from home today. We were hoping we might get checks from our parents for like Easter, but there were none in the package. There were a couple little tubs of cotton candy, and plush animals for each of us. I got a lobster which I'm going to call Lobstee, after the X Middle School mascot. I'll put it on my plush page when I get a chance. Also a couple bottles of mustard, which I guess they thought we couldn't get out here, French's sweet & zesty mustard... but we can. And an old watch of mine came that I've been waiting for them to find and send for quite awhile. A star trek watch, which I've never worn. Of course the batteries are dead, so I'll have to buy new ones tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm going to go buy some beer, go home, and get smashed. See ya when I see ya....
