I just remembered something else I was gonna say. I bought some diet Coke with lime to try. It's good. But it was on sale for $3.50. With tax it came to $3.75, which I didn't have... My problem is that in my head, I expect sales tax to be 5 cents on the dollar. That's what I'm used to. Here it is 8% and I can't get my head around that. If it woulda been 5%, I would have just barely had enough. Now I'm going to say something about sales tax, and you can agree with me, or ignore me, or piss off. The choice is yours. Sales tax is what the government charges businesses for the right to sell stuff. Originally businesses were expected to pay this themselves, and did. But at some point, they decided to slough off the expense on their customers. And we just accepted it. It's BS, man! We're not meant to pay it! But whatever. I'm upset about that, and upset at myself for forgetting the sales tax in Ohio is 8%, and upset that I didn't have enough money. And upset that the cashier paid the difference for me. I appreciated it, but it just reminds me of all those other things that I'm upset about. Maybe I was thinking earlier of other things about the situation that annoyed me. But I forget. Whatever. I got a show to watch now. Bye.
