Good morning, kids. Let me tell you about yesterday. My last of three days off in a row. I had to go to my aunt and uncle's house and do a little work there. Also spent some time online. Also watched the second episode of Code Lyoko. Was going to watch DS9 and Gilmore Girls. DS9, been waiting like 10 years or so for this, but I missed it. It'll probably be around another year before i get another chance to see the episode. It'll be late summer before I get a chance to see the GG ep i missed. Why did I miss my shows? Because my cousins forced me to go to a baseball game with them. I've never been to a baseball game, because I don't like sports. Still, it wasn't bad. It was just like... somewhere to be. The ballgame seemed to be incidental. We might as well have had the game on the TV at a party, with people wandering in and out of the room, or even sitting on the couch talking to each other and only occasionally glancing at the screen. As for the food, it was expensive. Luckily, I wasn't paying for it, my uncle was. I got nachos and mountain dew. All in all, I guess I enjoyed the experience reasonably well, except for missing my shows. Also we didn't stay till the end of the game cuz my uncle was getting tired of his team losing.

Now, today is the first of at least 4 straight days of work. I've gotta go soon. But I wanted to try out my computer first. Monday I walked to the other side of town and picked it up at the ISP, where they'd put in a new modem, and I walked home carrying the computer. Some fun. Had to call the phone company to tell them we have callwave, and they said it'd be working the next day, yesterday. But we didn't have a chance to try it yesterday. So I'm trying it now. Seems slow, and I got kicked offline once for no apparent reason. But at least it's connected. Have to try again later, I guess, see if it gets any better. But damn, I'd like a new computer.
